Welcome to Night Sweats No More

This web site will help you understand how to get better, deeper sleep, why we sweat at night and how to make it stop. We will learn what triggers the sweat glands to become active at night and how to control this problem. I will show you how to gain a restful night's sleep.

I have tried for many years to deal with being way too hot at night. I needed to find a quality sleep system that would help me go to sleep and stay that way. The system that I found will help you through the 5 stages of sleep and make sure that you get there uninterrupted. I tried the sleep number bed but it was not my answer. I was just too hot and it would not cool me down. I found that getting hot at night was the reason for my tossing and turning. I thought it was like they always told me on TV that it was the pressure points. That may be the case for some people but for me it was the heat. I tried the memory foam sleep system but that was defiantly the wrong way to go. If you are a hot sleeper stay away from the foam. I know they tell you one thing at the store but once you have it you will know the truth. Remember one of the best insulators is foam.

When I first got this system I thought I was going to have what they call excessive REM sleep but all I got was to sleep like a baby. I have a friend that suffers from sleep apnia and he is finding it helps tremendously. Tossing and turning due to getting hot is one of the symptoms of sleep apnea.

I am often asked how I would compare sleep the number bed to this system and the short answer is this: First, look at the price. I know for a fact that many of the problems we have with sleep have to do more with bed temperature than with anything else. The sleep doctors always tell you keep your room cool. For the most part I would advise at least trying this system and see what you think.

The bottom line is this, sleep deprivation effects your days and nights significantly. It did for me and I was lucky enough to find a way to fix this problem. Therefore I have decided to share this information with others. You may be gathering information for yourself, or maybe you are trying to help your partner with menopause or some other sleeping problem. The end goal is to get a good night's sleep no matter what (this site applies to anyone suffering from night sweating, or just being a hot sleeper regardless of reason).  From these pages you will acquire an understanding that will aid you in finding the relief that you need and deserve.

One thing you will notice on this site it that there is very limited advertising. I do list a few other web sites with extended information but I am not compensated in any way by you going there, they are just good sites with more info. Therefore you will not be inundated with pop-up ads and other annoying things.

I am not attempting to analyze personal ailments or diagnose any problems. I will not recommend any medications or herbs, even though they might help some people. We are going to show you how to get a full nights sleep without worrying about waking up  miserable.

It is important to understand the root problem that is causing discomfort at night or  night sweating. Not that we can fix that part but you need to fully understand what is causing the sweating and how to make it stop.

Our body is a miraculous piece of equipment and it usually knows what it needs to do in order to repair itself (fluctuations in body temperature included). That is not saying that we have to be miserable while it is doing its job. We should simply accept the fact that it knows better than we do. So often we are treating one problem only to create another with the drugs etc. If you are naturally a hot sleeper, then you have to deal with this for much longer, the good news is, you are all at the right place for help.
